![]() This is a helpful thread discussing what stats you want to aim for as you get to end game gear at level 70, but if you need a background on how stats work and all you probably want to view I used to play Fury on my marauder but switched to Carnage two expansions ago, so I can't give you much more advice about Concentration currently in this expansion cycle other than what I've read on the forums. Concentration (mirror = Fury) has some AoE advantages and is reportedly good for Player vs Player encounters. As I mentioned, most of the top end game raiders in the Marauder advanced class are playing Carnage, which is the mirror of Combat. Watchman is more of a sustained damage spec, because it is based on DoTs (damage over time abilities.) Combat is more of a burst damage spec, because it has cycles of heavy hitting abilities followed by longer periods of filler abilities. They are supposed to have slightly different advantages and disadvantages. One I usually steer people towards is Beastfury.Īny of the three specs are good for general solo play. There are some really excellent twitch streamers who are active raiders and play Combat. Oofalong focuses mostly on Watchman and Hayete mostly on Combat. Neither currently play SWTOR, but their guides are some of the most comprehensive on the Sentinel/Marauder advanced classes. Alternatively, I highly recommend you review the guides written by Hayete, located here, and Oofalong, located here. Fortunately a lot of the 4.0 guides are still relevant and useful. ![]() by that I mean, they may write a Watchman Sentinel Guide or a Carnage Marauder guide, but not their opposite faction mirrors (Annihilation Maurauder and Combat Sentinel respectively.) Some of the disciplines in the game do not have 5.0 versions yet, for reasons that I won't get into right now. Sometimes, authors only write the guide for one of the mirror disciplines and not the other. ![]() Something to shoot for but not necessarily achievable as you are leveling. If I'm wrong so be it, but that just means that they are identical if equipped with the same item modifications.ĭ has great end-game guides, but they are geared towards end game players. I'm not sure if its been tested, but I think some abilities require a lightsaber, instead of a vibrosword. Any help will be greatly appreciated.Īll armor is the same, other than the modifications installed in it. Like I said, I want my character to be able to go into any given fight and dominate. Oh, and what crew skills will I need.I know I can only have one crafting skill so I am looking at whatever can make my weapons and armor better. I know I'd like to use abilities that don't have a cooldown time or the cooldown time is very brief. ![]() Not sure under combat proficiencies which work best: watchman or combat. I know it will take time to build my character to be very strong but I'd like to try and plan ahead as far as I can. I need help with what armor works best and was modifications and weapons also work best. Basically what I want is for my Sentinel to destroy any enemy I come across. ![]()
